OVERVIEW
ISS invites all Picas users to attend our Picas User’s Conference hosted once every other year. A typical Picas User’s Conference is 2-3 days in length and covers a wide variety of useful information regarding our company, our software, and our software integrations with outside vendors. We use this opportunity to introduce our users to ISS employees, review departmental changes and support processes, and reflect on the past year of operations. We introduce key enhancements and new features available, as well as brainstorm new ideas, directions, and projects for the future. Not only are ISS User’s Conferences informational, they also allow customers to give feedback and suggestions, and provide for great networking opportunities.
PICAS USERS CONFERENCE 2009 RECAP
The 2009 Picas User’s Conference was a great success! Picas users from 15 different greenhouses traveled to Grand Rapids for the conference. For two days, they learned more about ISS and its operations, new features, and the future plans for Picas. Some of the topics included a discussion on tags, an overview of the new user interface, a glimpse into the future of report writing, and some new tricks to use in Picas. The attendees also had a chance to tour the ISS office and mingle with ISS staff and fellow Picas users at a reception on Wednesday night.
Thank you to all of those who attended the 2009 Picas User’s Conference. We hope you can join us for the next one in 2011!
