PICAS DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT (IMAGING)
Reduce the amount of paperwork handled within various Picas modules (listed below). Electronically scan in and manage documents.
- Order Entry: Manage customer documents pertaining to Order Entry and attach them to customer orders.
- Purchasing: Manage incoming documents pertaining to purchasing. (Purchase Orders and Receivers) Increase the speed and accuracy in which documents are retrieved. Reduce the amount of space needed to store hard documents.
- Accounts Payable: Manage incoming documents pertaining to Accounts Payable. (Checks and Invoices)
- Accounts Receivable: Manage incoming documents pertaining to Accounts Receivable. (Checks, CR/DB memos, customer statements)
- Labor Tracking: Similar to Order Entry, yet allows you to create images of all employee information, 401K, and certificates.
- Crop Management: Imaging for sowing, transplants, germ rates, and physical counts.
PICAS REPORT WRITER (CorVu)
This program includes Graphical Analysis, Report Writer and Executive Alerts. Graphical analysis empowers users with easy ad hoc reporting of data, including dynamic ways to explore information, create visual reports and flexible navigation. Report Writer provides you with the ability to produce composite reports made up of data and graphics. Executive Alerts allows you to monitor “key performance indicators” regarding the health of the enterprise.
VSI FAX
VSI Fax and Picas connect directly with the outside world by fax-enabling desktops and fax- automating processes that normally require printing, manual faxing, and postage. Picas and VSI Fax together are now able to auto-send and receive Order Entry Invoices, Purchase Orders, Acknowledgements (ACK’s), Advance Shipping Notices (ASN’s), and Backorders. *This add-on is HIGHLY recommended for all Picas customers.*
LOFTWARE LABEL PRINTING
The Loftware Print Server is a server-based software solution for managing and processing production label print requests directly from Picas to various printers. *This add-on is HIGHLY recommended for all Picas customers.*
BAR CODE ENTRY
This feature gives the user the option to enter orders into the system by means of a barcode wand scanner.
PICAS SEED LOT TRACKING
This allows the tracking of seed lots beginning when the seed is received through the sowing verification process. This feature will not only allow you to know what seed lots were used when, but will also give you the tools to keep a more accurate inventory of your seed. You will be able to see seed/cell variances and the dollars associated with these variances.
