TRIP BUILDER
Trip Builder is a full-featured load building and routing application that offers seamless integration with Picas Software, multi-drop logic, and quick refresh to get new orders or changes without cumbersome file transfers. Trip Builder also provides easy point and click customer information look up, auto un-stacking of drop points, custom ship-via identifiers and enables viewing by customer requested delivery dates.
STANDARD TRUCK ROUTING
Our Standard Routing feature has been designed to give Picas users the ability to route orders based on a standard route. In this scenario, a standard route is taken for a given region no matter which customers have placed orders (for that week) from that region. To accomplish this, each shipping location is assigned a sequence number. The order of the sequence numbers develops the route/loop that will be taken within each shipping region.
SMALL PACKAGE CARRIER INTEGRATION WORKSPACE
Take your shipping to the next level. We have created a seamless integration with several carriers to allow you to print shipping labels, produce tracking numbers, receive pricing information, track packages, and run reports, all within Picas. We currently integrate with FedEx, UPS, and OnTrac.
RACK TRACKING
Use hand held data collection units to scan your racks in and out while shipping. Quickly identify which one of your customers has your racks. Recover five racks and you will pay for this feature.
TAG INTEGRATIONS
These drop-ship programs help to reduce the costs of inventory and labor in the tagging process by allowing Picas to send your information and letting MasterTag or John Henry do all the work.
SHIPPING LINE
- Shipping Line (Sorting): Take product from a master list and sort product to order. This is a software driven system and requires minimal hardware setup.
- Shipping Line – Sequence Labels Only: This is a subset of the Picas Shipping Line functions that was designed to help you break down bulk pulled product into customer orders. The sequence labels allow you to do this using a number system that everyone can understand.
- Shipping Line (Packing/Verify): Verify order integrity before you ship the order. Print shipping labels and paperwork.
- Shipping Line (Tags): Sort product tags based on a sequence number. Reduce packing errors.
GROWER TRACKING
This tracking system predominately functions as a record keeping system and was designed to help growers to know what has been done to crops, as well as what needs to be done (based on current conditions of the crop). Some of the capabilities of this record keeping system include tracking of chemical applications (what, when, and who), storing of digital images of crop at desired or problem stages, entering and viewing comments about the status of a crop, what activity needs to be (or has been) done, and printing functions for crop labels to be used on finished products. Grower tracking has full integration with Picas activities, giving the grower the ability to create and attach generic records. Enhancements to this system include the ability to print Worker Protection Forms, create chemical application reports to inform customers of what has been done to their crops, application inquiry that allows viewing, customization, and expanding of what has been done to a crop (by crop/week or by customer order),
cemical costing analysis reports, and bug testing options.
SOWING LINE
This Picas feature incorporates the multiple operations that are needed to prepare for and perform the sowing process in one simple workspace. These functions include printing and sowing reports and container labels, allocating and verifying seed lots, and verification of the trays sown without data collection equipment.
